Project Raptor: War Commanders 9.1.27 turns C&C Generals Zero Hour into almost a different game. There are five sides instead of three, each side's build menu holds 1.5–2 times more units, and a lot of the hardware is real, from the M1A2 Abrams tank to the Su-57 fighter. This wiki is built from the mod's own files (the 9.1.27 INI files): sides, generals, unit costs and health, and real-world prototypes.

The mod's five sides
On top of Zero Hour's three sides the mod adds two new ones: the Militia and B.O.S.S. We counted how many units open up in each build menu by following the chain Command Center → dozer → buildings → units. Only buttons that are actually available in the mod were counted, without buildings and without duplicates.
| Side | Units in the menu | What stands out | Page |
|---|---|---|---|
| USA | 40 (19 in Zero Hour) | M1A2 Abrams, F-22, AC-130, navy | USA in Raptor |
| China | 37 (17 in Zero Hour) | Tiger tank, Ka-50, MiG "White Tiger", navy | China in Raptor |
| GLA | 29 (18 in Zero Hour) | T-80, SA-11 SAM, airship, the "Tsar" ship | GLA in Raptor |
| Militia | 24 | ZSU-23-4 Shilka, Spear heavy tank, howitzers | Militia |
| B.O.S.S. | 40 | Su-57, Mi-24, Mi-28, heroes of every side | B.O.S.S. |
The Militia is a side without generals, with cheap infantry, light tanks and strong artillery. B.O.S.S. is the playable version of General Leang, the final opponent of Generals' Challenge in Zero Hour. Her dossier in the mod lists her tactics as "different technologies of different generals".
The nine Zero Hour generals in Raptor
The expansion's generals are still here, but the mod rewrote their armies from scratch. Each one got its own new vehicles, most often expensive super units for 5000–10000.
| General | Side | What's new in Raptor |
|---|---|---|
| General Granger | USA | F-23, FA-20, FA-XX "Hunter", X-45B drone, mobile airbase, GPS Center |
| General Townes | USA | laser Abrams and Mammoth, laser artillery, Linear Tank for 8000 |
| General Alexander | USA | King Crusader, Plasma Tank, Fryingpan nano-tank, Terminator super tank |
| General Kwai | China | MT-LB, Sentinel and Spider tanks, Grad super artillery, Destroyer super tank |
| General Tao | China | Topol-M, Su-34, Ka-52, submarine, Devastator super tank |
| General Fai | China | Mini-Gunners, propaganda truck, Centaur super IFV |
| Dr. Thrax | GLA | Plague Tank, heavy and medium tanks, SCUD Technical, toxin lab |
| Prince Kassad | GLA | Executor artillery, mobile tunnel, Secret Base |
| General Juhziz | GLA | Monitor and Sand King tanks, howitzer, OKA cruise missile |
Each side's page covers its generals in detail.
How Raptor differs from Zero Hour in numbers
The mod changes the whole balance, so advice from regular Zero Hour doesn't always apply. A few telling numbers from the files of both games:
| What we compare | Zero Hour 1.04 | Raptor 9.1.27 |
|---|---|---|
| Command Center health | 5000 | 12000 |
| Raptor (F-22) | 1400, 160 health, missiles 100 / 320 | 3200, 240 health, missiles 600 / 850 |
| Aurora Bomber | 2500, 80 health | 5000, 120 health |
| China Overlord | 2000, 1100 health, cannon 80 / 175 | 2800, 1200 health, 60 / 200 |
| China Nuclear Missile and SCUD Storm | 5000 each | 10000 each |
| GLA SCUD Launcher | 1200, range 350 | 1400, range 400 |
| GLA Marauder Tank | 800 | none, replaced by the T-80 for 2500 |
The numbers show where the game has shifted: bases got tougher, superweapons pricier, and aircraft strike from ranges nothing in Zero Hour could reach. Raptor matches last longer, and the player who builds up an economy first wins. For that the mod has an Oil Derrick for 4500, plus naval yards and a navy for the USA, China and GLA.
Real hardware in Raptor
Most of the new units are copied from real vehicles, and many carry the real designation right in the name. In short, by side:
- USA: M1A2 Abrams tank, M2 Bradley IFV, AS-90 howitzer, MLRS rocket launcher, AH-64 Apache and V-22 Osprey, the F/A-18, F-22, F-117 and AC-130 aircraft;
- China: Ka-50 helicopter, MiG "White Tiger" (the model in the files is the MiG-31), a bomber whose model is called Beagle, NATO's name for the Il-28;
- GLA: T-80 tank, SA-11 SAM (the Soviet Buk), an attack jet based on the L-29 trainer;
- Militia: ZSU-23-4 Shilka, the Little Bird light helicopter, MiG-29;
- B.O.S.S.: Su-57, Mi-24, Mi-28.
What these machines are in real life is covered on the side pages, in the sections on prototypes.

Where the numbers come from
The data is taken from the files of Project Raptor: War Commanders 9.1.27: the mod's 158 INI files (Object, Weapon, Locomotor, CommandSet). We read unit names from the Russian version of the mod, so in this wiki units carried over from Zero Hour keep their official English names, and new units go by their real designations (M1A2 Abrams, AH-64 Apache) or an English translation of the mod name. Some roles moved: in the USA's Ranger slot the mod puts a Marine, and the name Ranger went to a special forces unit.
Damage is listed per shot of the main weapon, range is in game units. Ranks, upgrades and general powers change these numbers. Older versions of the mod, 9.1.22 for example, have different prices and army lineups.
Project Raptor on a phone
Raptor is several times heavier than Zero Hour: the mod's archives together with the game files weigh about 5.8 GB. In a regular install the mod ships as loose files, about 14,000 of them in the Data\INI and Art folders. On Android the port reads some of these INI files twice, and searching through big folders stretches loading to several minutes.
So for phones we packed all of the mod's files into .big archives, and in this build Project Raptor 9.1.27 works in ZeroFront. The link is in the bot, under "Game files & mods" → Project Raptor. You connect Raptor like any other mod, following the general setup guide: the original Generals folder plus the Zero Hour folder with the mod. Mod versions and the Windows install are covered on the Project Raptor page.
FAQ
How many sides does Project Raptor have?
Five playable ones: USA, China, GLA, Militia and B.O.S.S. On top of them come the nine Zero Hour generals, each with their own version of the army and new vehicles.
Who is B.O.S.S. in Project Raptor?
The playable version of General Leang, the final opponent of Generals' Challenge in Zero Hour. In regular Zero Hour you can't play as her, but in the mod you can. Her army is drawn from different sides: B.O.S.S. has the Black Lotus, Jarmen Kell, a Commando based on Colonel Burton, the Su-57 and the Mi-24.
What is the Militia side?
A new side that the mod's files call Militia. It fields cheap infantry, light tanks, the ZSU-23-4 Shilka and strong field artillery, and it has no generals.
Do these numbers apply to version 9.1.22?
No. The data comes from 9.1.27, released on September 21, 2026, and older versions have different prices and army lineups. For regular Zero Hour, see the main wiki.
Does Project Raptor work on Android?
Yes, in the build where the mod is packed into .big archives, which you'll find in the bot. With a regular loose install the port crashes or takes minutes to load, so use the packed version.
