Prince Kassad is the GLA stealth general in Zero Hour. His Rebels, Hijackers and defenses are camouflaged, any building can be hidden under camo netting, and the GPS Scrambler power hides an entire army. The price: no Scorpion or Marauder tanks and no SCUD Launcher. The numbers below come from the Zero Hour INI files, version 1.04.
Who is Kassad
Prince Kassad commands the Cobra cell of the Global Liberation Army. According to his bio card he is 34, based in Tripoli, Libya, and holds no rank.
His tactics on the card: ambush and camouflage. He prefers covert operations to open battle. Defeat is a real danger for him: when he loses, he says his men won't forgive their leader and that your victory has signed his death warrant.
How Kassad's army differs from GLA
His features on the general card: every structure can be camo-netted, camouflaged Rebels, defenses start with camo netting, the Hijacker is available from the start and always cloaked, and the GPS Scrambler unlocks sooner and recharges faster.

A curious detail: Marauder and Scorpion objects with Kassad's prefix are still in the files, and his Marauder there has 430 health instead of 500. You can't build them in the game, because the Arms Dealer menu doesn't list these tanks.
Strengths
- The enemy can't see his Rebels, Hijackers or defenses until a detector comes close.
- The Hijacker steals enemy vehicles from the first minute. Against Kwai or Tao it's a way to get the tanks Kassad doesn't have.
- The GPS Scrambler comes more often than for other GLA generals: the army drops off radar right before an attack.
- A camouflaged tunnel behind enemy lines is a ready-made landing point.
Weaknesses
- No main tanks and no SCUD. Against a fortified base he has Rocket Buggies, Bomb Trucks and the SCUD Storm.
- Detectors reveal everything: the US Pathfinder and Sentry Drone and China's Listening Outpost all see camouflaged units.
- The Rebel and Hijacker cost more, so Kassad bleeds more money in a long fight.

Playing Kassad on a phone
Kassad plays from ambushes, and on a phone you need to switch between spots quickly:
- Put Hijackers in group "1". A tap on an empty slot in the left-hand bar saves the selection.
- Send Rocket Buggies and Combat Cycles to "2" for raids, and the main Rebel squad to "3".
- A double tap on a slot moves the camera to that group. That lets you wait for an enemy column at the ambush and jump back to the base right away.
Don't rush the Hijacker: tap the Hijacker, then tap the enemy tank when no infantry is nearby. Holding a UI button shows its tooltip, a handy way to check whether a power is ready. The rest of the gestures are on the controls page.
